To be a community space for all Queer Women. We are inclusive space to all humans, who spread love and respect for our community.
We EMBRACE the entire LGBTQ+ Community and seek to uplift EVERYONE. While this business was built by lesbians, it is a Queer Human Space where the whole community can gather safely.
The Femme Story
The idea of Femme first came about in 2020, during the Pandemic. My wife started researching Lesbian owned businesses and came across Lesbian owned bars. At the time there was 21 lesbian bars in the whole country, that was a pretty wild number to us. We started researching and visiting some of the lesbian bars that were close to us, New York being the closest. In these spaces we had such a good time, we were fully able to just be ourselves and enjoy the atmosphere.
By being in those spaces we knew very quickly that we wanted to bring that feeling of belonging to Worcester. Queer Women do not have many spaces left of their own where they can go to be safe and to be the most authentic version of themselves. This is when the idea of Femme was created. Being able to start this business and create something for the community is so special to us. We hope everyone who visits no matter race, gender, sexuality feels that since of home and belonging in Femme.
