Femme is New England's first modern lesbian bar — and Worcester's most unapologetically fun night out. Opened in 2023 and located at 62 Green Street in the heart of Worcester, MA, we are the bar created for the lesbians, the girls, the gays, and the they's. Whether you're here for a legendary drag brunch, a wild Saturday night, trivia, book club, karaoke, or speed dating — there's always something going down at Femme. Femme was born out of a simple, infuriating truth: queer women and femme-centered folks had almost nowhere to go. While gay bars for men thrived, lesbian and femme spaces kept disappearing. We said enough of that — and built something new. Femme opened its doors in Worcester, MA in 2023 as New England's first modern lesbian bar, and we have been selling out merch, packing the house, and making history ever since. Femme was created for the lesbians, the girls, the gays, and the they's — a space where you are not just welcome, you are the whole point. We are owned and operated by Danielle and Julie, a married couple who poured their whole hearts (and a lot of tequila) into building the space our community deserved.

Femme is equal parts dive bar energy and elevated experience — think craft cocktails with names of lesbian songs and descriptions that make you snort-laugh, a vibe that is unapologetically queer, and a crowd that is genuinely happy to see you. We host live events nearly every week: drag brunches with full performances, karaoke nights, trivia, speed dating, book club, social mixers, and DJ nights.
